How to Use Flora Screensaver
How to Install
To install the screensaver double click and run the setup file and leave checked the option checkbox "Install as Windows Screensaver".To check if the screensaver was installed correctly and to change your screensaver to "Flora Screensaver" otherwise you can do the following.
Windows 10:
Open Screen Saver Settings by clicking the Start button Image, clicking Settings, clicking Personalization, clicking Lock Screen and then clicking Screen Saver Settings on the bottom of the screen.
Under Screen saver, in the drop-down list, click on "Flora Screensaver"
There you can also specify how many minutes to wait before the screensaver will appear and if on resume the login screen will be displayed.
Click OK.
Windows 7:
Open Screen Saver Settings by clicking the Start button Image, clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Screen Saver.
Under Screen saver, in the drop-down list, click on "Flora Screensaver"
There you can also specify how many minutes to wait before the screensaver will appear and if on resume the login screen will be displayed.
Click OK.
How to open the Screensaver Settings Screen
In the Windows Screen Saver Settings screen (you can access it as described earlier), press on the "Settings" button and wait for the Flora Screensaver settings screen to open.
In the Flora Screensaver settings screen, you can enable and disable pictures by clicking them on the list and then press the enable or disable button of the toolbar. You can also change the order that they will get displayed by clicking on them and then clicking on the up or down arrow button to move the selected image up or down on the list.
By clicking on "Description Language" list item on the left of the screen you can also specify whether the scientific, English or German name of the plant or flower will get displayed.
By clicking on the "General" list item on the left of the screen you can also access other general options such as background layout, choose between transitions effects and also specify the transition duration.
You can also specify the interval at which the images will get changed and also whether the order that they will get displayed will be random or normal.
By checking on "Start from Next of last time's image", the application will remember the last image that was displayed and will start the next time from the next of the last image.
By checking on "Show same Image for All Monitors" the screensaver will display the same image for all monitors and not a separate image for each monitor.
By clicking on the "Default Caption" list item on the left of the screen you can also specify the default style of the text label (plant name or custom default caption). To display a custom default caption for all images check on the "Default Caption" checkbox and then enter the text in the textbox below.
Finally, press the "OK" button.
